Mega Boat Party Malta, 5 September: What's Included and How the Batch Prices Work

🚢 Saturday 5 September 2026. The Mega Boat Party gets one more date after the August rush, and it is arguably the better one: same boat, same open bar, fewer people fighting for the same square metre of deck. Here is exactly what you are buying, what it costs and why the price is different depending on when you book.

🍹 What is included

  • Fully open bar — drinks are included for the whole cruise, not a welcome drink and then a card machine.
  • 2 dance floors with resident DJs, so there is somewhere to go when you need a break from the main one.
  • Swimming stops — the boat cuts the engines in open water and you jump in.
  • A crowd that is mostly visitors, which is why it works: everybody is there to talk to somebody.

💶 How the batch pricing works

This is the part people get wrong. The tickets are not one price with a random increase — they are sold in fixed allocations:

  • First Batch — €69 (+ booking fee)
  • Second Batch — €79 (+ booking fee)
  • Third Batch — €89 (+ booking fee)

When a batch sells out, the next one opens automatically at the higher price. Nobody decides to raise it; the allocation simply runs out. Booking two weeks early and booking on the day can be a €20 difference for exactly the same ticket, same boat, same bar.

⚓ Timings and meeting point

  • Boarding: 18:30
  • Departure: 19:00
  • Back on land: 23:00
  • Meeting point: Sliema Ferries Terminal

Be at the terminal by 18:30. The boat leaves on time and there is no way to catch it once it has gone — this is the single most common way people lose a boat party ticket.

🎒 What to bring on board

  • Swimwear under your clothes. Changing space on a full boat is theoretical.
  • A towel and a plastic bag for the wet one afterwards.
  • Sun cream. A 19:00 September departure still gives you an hour of real sun.
  • ID. 18+, checked at boarding.
  • A light layer for the way back. September evenings at sea get cool once the sun drops — this is the one thing August crowds never need and September crowds always do.

🌊 Why September is the smart month at sea

The sea around Malta is at its warmest in early September, not in July — it spends the whole summer absorbing heat and gives it back late. The air is a few degrees kinder, the boats are less crowded, and the sunset lands right in the middle of the cruise. If you were choosing one boat party for the whole trip, this is the date with the best odds.

📅 The rest of the calendar

The season is not over on the 5th. BRESH closes Toy Room on 11 September, and everything still on sale is in upcoming events. If you would rather drive the boat than dance on it, our water activities in Malta include self-drive boats and jet skis with no licence needed.

🥂 Open bar, two dance floors, four hours at sea and the warmest water of the year. Book while the first batch lasts.
