Beyond Malta: Mykonos in Summer, Punta Cana in Winter
Malta's season has an end date. The clubs thin out through October, the pool parties stop, and the same crowd starts asking the same question: where next? Two answers, both run by our sister brand Malta Party Vibes, and both very different trips.
Mykonos: the same night, a different island
Mykonos is the closest thing to a Maltese summer with the volume turned up — later hours, higher prices, the same appetite for a white party. The We Love Myk series runs the format anyone who has done a Maltese August will recognise: a white party, a neon night, a ladies' night and a love night, on repeat through the season. Book earlier than you would in Malta: the island runs out of beds before it runs out of tickets.
Punta Cana: winter, and a proper beach
Punta Cana is the winter answer, when Malta is closed and the Caribbean is not. The Punta Cana line-up is built around daytime: a pool party at Pearl Beach Club, a boat party and a white party. Same idea as a Maltese pool party, twelve hours of flying away and eight months out of phase — which is exactly why it works.
What stays in Malta
Until the season closes, Malta is still the cheapest party island in the Mediterranean to get to, and the calendar runs to the end of September at the rooftops and into November at Toy Room. Our events calendar keeps the dates, the VIP tables section handles the groups, and the nightlife guide is the place to start if this is your first season here.
Mykonos and Punta Cana are sold by Malta Party Vibes, part of the same group as Malta Nights.
